2 Storey Floor Plan Design – At Building Designs by Stockton, we offer two collections of house plans for our two story homes. The first is the Contemporary Craftsman collection. In this collection of homes you will find plans designed in the Craftsman style. These homes often have one or two stories, gable rooflines with overhanging eaves, deep porches with stone accent columns, and attached garages. The second is the traditional collection. In this collection of homes you will find plans that include Arts and Crafts, Bungalow, Colonial, Craftsman, Farmhouse, Lodge, Prairie, Mediterranean and Tuscan styles.
Changes to the pre-designed plan: If minor changes to the floor plan, such as expanding the floor plan, changing the bathroom and kitchen layout, adding additional units to a multi-family design or modification of the architectural style of the building, are requested, please be aware. While other styles often have a second story, the two-story style house does not match the appearance of other styles, making it unique. Generally, common rooms such as the kitchen, living room and dining room are on the ground floor while the bedrooms are on the upper floor. I had the opportunity to visit this model during a filming trip to Colorado. This particular model is located in Monument, Colorado. Saddletree builds on-site semi-custom homes in and around Colorado Springs, Colorado. They offer many luxury home designs, but “Magnolia” is my favorite.
