Atlanta Commercial Interior Design Firms
Atlanta Commercial Interior Design Firms – Proof ID is a startup software development company providing cybersecurity solutions for personal ID management and sharing. First, they opened the doors to Tech Alpharetta, a tech startup incubator for over 50 tech startups. The goal is to help technology companies succeed in the city of Alpharetta Membership offers free parking, WiFi, high speed, dedicated internet and 24/7 access. Local companies benefit from mentorship, investor connections, on-site meetings and events, and a community of tech innovators. Evidence ID grew rapidly during their first year and found they needed more space with this type of support. They first moved their offices to Tech Square in downtown Atlanta, hoping to attract more staff from Georgia Tech graduates. . After about a year, they moved to TechRise in Buckhead, another hub for tech startups that has allowed companies to grow quickly. Our company helped them every step of the way, designing functional yet understated offices, focusing on company image and branding. As successful startups get more funding and can attract a larger employee base, their niche must grow with them. Evidence of about 100 employees and a healthy fund, ID decided to build space inside the Resurgence Building in Buckhead. The building is conveniently located in the heart of Buckhead’s mixed-use district and has direct access to a MARTA station. This was an important step for Proof ID to acquire its own headquarters and retain and attract more employees
The building was undergoing minor repairs and updates as most of the interior was reminiscent of the 1990’s Adding a new company to move and update half of their floor was a welcome effort The 24,500 square foot cell was on the 14th floor of the building with a great view of the canopy trees in the Buckhead area and downtown Atlanta in the distance. We knew we wanted our interior to reflect and complement the stunning landscape, but also to represent the company’s brand. After the successful journey, the company reassessed itself and the partners were eager to implement their new colors and brand concepts. Our design concept was mostly industrial mid-century modern with a touch of industrial modern influence We left the ducted and piped ceilings but painted them bright white to brighten the space. We added heavy and dark pieces of furniture, concrete floors and dark rugs with a strong texture. It’s the perfect combination of light and dark elements to create an interesting and contrasting workspace.

In this mid-century modern office design, homages are paid to the remnants of offices past; We implemented the legacy of the company, the first office shelf made by a talented partner from reclaimed wood panels. This iconic company will travel to new heights for years to come! Pieces of iron and wood furniture were introduced in various areas to pay homage to the elements of industrial modern design, but most places fulfilled the importance of function. With office furniture products that are made of high-pressure laminate, the work surfaces are scratch-resistant and virtually indestructible. The spacious floor plan implemented multi-person workstations, private office desks and credenzas. Work surfaces are adjustable in height, allowing each person to rise and fall as desired during the working day, relieving stress, engaging muscles and improving blood circulation. Movement inspires health, productivity and creativity
Inside The Design Process
Several small meeting rooms for sessions are also scattered throughout the plan Lounge areas with partitions and ottomans were placed outdoors to provide a comfortable place to gather and share ideas. A fun idea added in the last five years to commercial office spaces is the introduction of ping pong tables in employee break areas. Many offices have taken it a step further by adding shuffleboard, mini basketball hoops for rebounding and mini toss. It will surely relieve stress at work!
Installing furniture for the 24,500 square foot space required careful planning and coordination not only with new products but also with existing office furniture. We hired a moving coordinator to help us label, sort, and move all files, computers, and personal belongings. These value-added services and the interior design plan we provide are a great asset to a company that is busy planning its next successful phase.
