Its revenue from operations during April-June 2021 increased by 93.22% to Rs.1,798.49 crore, as against Rs.930.76 crore in the alike period final year.
Total expenses were Rs 1,624.36 crore, an increase of 80.20 per cent compared to Rs 901.42 crore a year ago.
“The group’s business operations have been affected during the current quarter due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing closures,” the company said.
It has taken into account the potential impact of COVID-19 in preparing its financial results, including assessing the recoverability of its assets.
“The group will persevere to monitor any material changes in coming economic conditions,” she added.
Shares of Berger Paints India Ltd on Friday fell 1.16 per cent to close at 828.55 rupees per share in BSE.
