I find the book easy to read because it doesn’t use complicated jargon, so it’s a good choice if you’re completely new to the world of interior design. . I’ve used it a lot as a guide when designing rooms for myself and room style clients. I love that this book is based on the New York School of Interior Design home curriculum, so the information inside is well researched. This book is big, heavy, and packed with all the information you need to design a room from start to finish. Think of it as your Interior Design Bible!

– Amber Lewis is an inspirational designer. This book is a collection of photographs of her interior projects, and she also explains the “how” and “why” of her decorating process. I’ve used many of her designs as inspiration when putting together my own rooms and styling clients’ rooms, so this book is a great reference to have on hand. Lewis does a great job mixing old and new through antiques and fashion finds and mixing textures and patterns through textiles. This book has a great design and lots of pictures, as makes a good coffee table book.

Fame and this home decor book is a great example of her talent. Inside, you’ll find not only beautiful photos of her well-designed interiors, but also great tips and tricks on how to create a home you’ll love. I love that Gaines shares some common decorating styles at the beginning of the book and how you can come up with your own. The book is divided into sections based on rooms, which is useful if you want to design a specific space in your home.

For the visual learner, this is one of my favorite sources for interior design.
