“Ultimate Remodeling: Home Remodeling” is returning to television, and the show is currently looking for families in need of a total home remodel.

In the original series, a team of carpenters and design professionals raced against the clock to completely renovate, and in some cases, rebuild a family home within a week.
The end of each episode was always a tearjerker, when the family saw their new home for the first time in a dramatic show.

It looks like the reboot will be just as emotional as the original series. HGTV’s parent company, Discovery, said in a release that the show is looking for new, deserving families with “uplifting, inspiring stories that must be told.”

“The iconic home improvement series features those who give back to their community despite personal challenges,” the network said.

The first episode focuses on the Mosley family. Jessica Mosley is a single mother recovering from the death of her father and raising three adopted children in Bakersfield, Calif.
“We don’t give people more than they need. You’re not going to see crazy arcades, slides going into pools,” Ferguson told USA Today. The show “changes people’s lives, but not people’s lives. We don’t have the budget to build these big buildings.”
