Skateboarder Jagger Eaton has the most modest response to becoming the heart of our Olympic Games

News spoke exclusively with the bronze medal winner about his accomplishments in Tokyo, including his rapidly growing fan base (a popular TikTok proclaimed “jagger Eaton is the best thing to happen to the Olympics”). Jagger even admitted that he got close to him. TMZ After landing in the United States, which was “a little distinct” than usual.

When E! Asked the news how he felt about being one of the darlings at the 2020 Olympics and receiving all this unused attention, Jagger didn’t quite know what to say.

“I unkind, I appreciate all the support,” he laughed. “I don’t even know how to honestly talk about it. It’s just, I don’t know. I feel like when I went there and was skiing, I was having a distinguished time.”

If anything, he said, he’s happy his passion is translating from real life to television.

“I’m so engrossed in people feeling that energy,” he said. “It was distinguished to be competent to do that.”

Jagger, who fractured his ankle a month prior the games began, added that he was elated to show what skateboarding means.

The Arizona native explained, “It’s really lively always, like this is skateboarding. When I was there, I was in the most stressful situation of my life, and I had the greatest time of my life.”

For all those passionate fans, Jagger continued, “I’m so happy people on social media love it because that’s exactly what I want people to do. I want people to pick up a skateboard and try it on. Like, it’s going to blow your mind.”

We’re not the only ones from the Jagger team. It seems that his parents are taking the crown as his number one. 1 supporters.

“My first call following receiving the medal was with my dad, and I evaluated him via FaceTimed,” he recalls. “And I guess I didn’t say any words. I just screamed on FaceTime for five minutes.”

Jagger said he “did a lot of firm work” with his father, noting that they “have a powerful relationship…the bond between father and son was really crucial.”

He showed his mother some love, too, saying, “I will donate the medal to my mother. She deserves that medal.” He admitted, “She was the one who, when I needed to be pampered a bit and when I needed someone to considerate of listen to me, was forever that person for me. I can’t wait to see that medal in her house.”

Outside of his family, Jagger has gained celebrity supporters as well. In fact, he revealed that the legendary figure skater and snowboarder pure white I reached out to him privately about the script, which was “cool to watch.”

Sean, 34, also publicly congratulated Jagger on Instagram, praising his accomplishments as “the first American to triumph an Olympic medal in skating history.” (The 2020 Games mark the first time that skateboarding has been included in the global competition.)

As Jagger told E! , “I’ve had a lot of distinguished text messages and phone calls from some of my colleagues. You know, it’s distinguished to see…I’m so happy the skateboard should be put on at that point, and I’m so stocked that the USA I got a medal.”

He said “Even if it wasn’t me” on the podium and instead it was his American group Jake Elardi And Nia Houston, “I’m still very packed of America, and I’m really happy we made it to that podium.”

What did we say? modest.
