When There Is No Hope

Or are you suffering from a wave of depression and struggling to get fresh air?

No Hope Of Life

Today I want to share what I have learned from God’s word and from others as I look back on some of the situations I have faced over the past few years, and there is no hope in my life. Check out these four things to do when you’re feeling hopeless.

You don’t have to participate in every sport, activity, and adventure available in your church, school, and community. Make thoughtful choices about when and where you spend your time, but get on with daily life.

When trials come or when expectations are dashed, this is the perfect time for Satan to unleash his deception on your doorstep. To resist his efforts, now more than ever is the time to stand firm in your faith in God. Read the Bible every day. Keep it handy and post scriptures anywhere in your home!

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, I trust in his word. -Psalm 130:15 I love the NLT wording of this verse: I trust in the Lord; Yes, I trust him. I trusted his word. Psalm 130:15 3. Spend more time in prayer.

George Washington Carver Quote: “where There Is No Vision, There Is No Hope .”

God wants to hear how you feel about this unfulfilled expectation! He loves you and wants to hear your prayers. Lamentations 2:19 – “My heart is poured out before the Lord.” Hold nothing back, give it all to Him.

Absorb all the good things you can. Smile as much as possible. Make a list of things you are grateful for each day. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not his benefits – Psalm 103:2

Although this list is short and concise, I believe these four practices have allowed me to trust God every day so that I can get through times when I feel like I don’t have faith.

God’s character, His omniscience, assures us that He knows every detail of what we do, whether it is good or bad. Our ability to move forward often begins with deciding where to put our faith. Once we discover that only Jesus can give us hope, we can begin to experience the power He gives us. – One more step

It’s very strange to walk through a store with empty shelves. I have never seen so many items in stock or in short supply in my life. When we lament the lack of many things we take for granted, this lack mindset often stretches our faith. But one that is not in short supply today. Whether you got out of bed this morning with hope or overwhelmed with the anticipation of another long and chaotic day, our hope is still there because it’s not up to us!

It doesn’t stop there! Our beliefs are not dependent on our circumstances. We don’t have to wait for things to get better. We don’t have to “jump to the good side.” Faith is in everything that God gives you today. Here are a few things to keep in mind when you feel like you’re lacking confidence.

6 Things to Remember When You Have No Faith 1) Our faith is not of this world.

Without Jesus Christ, We Have No Hope

Many people put their faith in better government, better health care, more scholarships, or better housing—all valuable and wonderful things. But these things cannot comfort a broken heart or heal a sick body. As Christians, we seek more than comfort and security in life.

The only safe place for our faith is in the character of our God. Because He never changes (James 1:17), because He will never leave us (Hebrews 13:5), and because He is strong enough to keep us in His love forever (Romans 8:35-39), so we are free from today’s challenges and tomorrow’s worries. Be confident. Why depression inside? When you feel like there is no hope, look to God!

A great way to increase your faith in God is to study His character. Our #PrayerJournal includes an entire section focused on finding God’s character in Scripture and praising Him in areas of our lives. Cheer your heart and strengthen your faith with this beautiful resource!

When we respond to judgment by saying, “God is good,” it may seem foolish to onlookers. Non-believers may think that we are simply in denial about the reality of life. But we have a higher truth! What appear to the world as rose-colored glasses are actually eternal lenses that provide perspective on our short time on earth.

It’s Being Here Now That’s Important. There’s No Past And There’s No Future Wisdom Quotes & Stories

In 1 Peter 1:3-9, we see that our perspective on the pain and suffering of this life is shaped by Jesus’ perfect work to save us and give us the hope of eternal joy and worship before the throne of God. Whether we suffer from a job loss or the death of a loved one, we know that eternal blessings await us through Jesus!

Ephesians 1:15-21 talks about the abundant hope we have in Jesus Christ. We are bold because we know God’s plan for everything in the future. Our focus is not on this life, but on the future life when Jesus reigns on earth and in heaven. This faith is as eternal as God’s love for us as His children.

You may feel like your life is like a roller coaster, with endless, unpredictable twists and turns. Or you can stand on top of a hill and admire the breathtaking views around you. But whether you are on the mountaintop or deep in the valley of the shadow of death, there is hope. Because it is based on the immutability of our God (Hebrews 6:17-18), our faith does not grow smaller or larger because of our trials and joys. It does not diminish by our faith or lack of faith – though we are changeable, it is immutable.

Because God’s goodness is unchanging, you can trust in joy no matter what happens in your life. When you find yourself smiling through your tears and bearing the pain, “Why does she still have hope?” They will ask, this is your chance to say, “My God gave me hope.”

In The Hard Seasons Archives

How many times have we said, “I hope the Amazon package arrives on time” or “It won’t rain, so my hair will be fine.” Hoping for a good outcome, not an adverse outcome! But Christian faith is not a vain desire for goodness.

A faithful preacher likes to explain hope as “the assurance, the expectation, of joy.” This is the faith of Christians! We know that our Jesus paid the price for our sins. We know that our God is in control of all the circumstances of our lives. We know that eternity is the eternity of life. Because it is in Him who does not lie (Titus 1:2), our faith is sure. When we are tempted and feel hopeless, we can trust in some of His promises (2 Corinthians 1:20).

To have faith in your heart, we want to help you understand some of God’s promises. That’s why we created Hope Scripture Cards! Keep these Bible verses in mind as you meditate on the sure promises. Then give them to others, cheering them on with this firm belief!

Sometimes we think of our faith as that ubiquitous black tree that died five years ago, but still stands firm, defying the decay of the years. But this assurance is only part of our faith! Our faith is not only enduring, but active! It is not a pretty flowering plant, its flower buds fade and disappear as it goes into winter dormancy. Despite harsh winter storms or biting frosts, our hope will blossom and grow.
